Now for something totally different.
- Sidewheel paddle steamer
This is Concordia, built in Genoa in 1926 she is the last paddlewheel steamer on Lake Como. There are currently paddle wheel steamers (larger than Concordia, on the Mississipi but they have a stern paddle wheel.
Concordia runs busily round the ports on Lake Como and is orgaised so that you can see her elegant machinery at work.
